Annuals are the answer for season long color. In March, we begin getting cool season flowers, and later in April, we receive thousands of new annual flats. Come early to beat the rush!

Groundcover can be a great plant for difficult or shaded areas. These plants can prevent erosion on a hilly site, and can also reduce bed maintenance by eliminating the need for mulch and by crowding out invasive weeds. Some are evergreen and provide year-round interest.

We carry a variety of aquatic plants to add to your water gardens and ponds. Both annual and perennial types are available, and many are flowering.

Mulch can be very beneficial to your garden plants. A layer of shredded bark mulch will help reduce weeds, retain moisture and will also add humus to your topsoil as the mulch decomposes. We stock 'Forest Fines' mulch. This screened product will provide a different look to your beds, decompose faster and will also make a good soil amendment. Stop in to see our complete line of bed amendments -- we carry Fertilome potting mix, peat moss, cow manure, top soil, organic peat compost and sand.

We stock a large quantity of landscape stone, including local granite and sandstone boulders, Tennessee flagstone, Pennsylvania dimensional and irregular flagstone and natural limestone. We can also order other materials if you have a specific need.
